“There is nothing more prized on this earth than true friendship.”

(quote by Thomas Aquinas)
This might be a long’un guys!
You know what I really love? When you have friends so close that even if you don’t see them often, your friendship remains untouched and still as strong as ever!
I haven’t been able to see much people because of all the travelling up and down uni, staying in uni for hours on end per day to make my time there worth it, the piles of assignments that I just got rid of recently taking up heaps of my time… but today I saw two of my best friends: Thuy (who I’ll refer to as ‘sis’ from now on - because that’s what we call each other normally LOL!) - who I last saw in like.. September! - and Zeyril (who I’ll refer to as ‘zey’! She’s my cousin… and she also has tumblr! - Click here > http://Zey-Is-Real.tumblr.com) - who I last saw in Nov! It was such a good day! We always give space to each other, and understand if we can’t see each other sometimes but whenever we do, it’s like we’ve never been away from each other for long - like we’ve been seeing each other every day! It’s so nice. :)
I first met up with sis to go to the British Library to get some books out. We weren’t members so we had to pre-register online before going there; look up the books we wanted access to; then bring shelf locations of these books, and two forms of ID with us upon registration at the actual library. When we got there we were in awe of how big it actually was (probably an exaggeration… but it was bigger than we expected, haha!!) and got lost too. So we were walking around like headless chickens, and eventually found a map! Ha! The registration process was pretty quick, but because we hadn’t reserved any books before we went there, if we wanted the books we wanted we’d have to wait an hour or even a couple of days! How silly! Because of lack of time, we couldn’t wait an hour and had to leave :/. We arrived at Wood Green and sis had a craving for bubble tea so we decided to try out the new Bubble Tea place called ‘aobaba’. BAD SERVICE I have to say! One main flaw was this: there were pork buns there, and I asked what was inside. The man goes ‘I’m not sure - it might be pork, it might be lotus, it might be char siu… I’m not sure’…! Me and sis were like ‘O___o’ and he goes ‘they put it in there without telling me what they were!’. What even!? What. Even. Anyway, after our bubble tea fest, we headed our separate ways and I got ready to meet up with Zey!
Me & Zey planned our day out beforehand - we were to go cinema, eat, then go Krispy Kreme - and it went exactly how we wanted it to :). At the cinema, we watched NEW YEARS EVE - a film with like… LOADS of celebrities in it (a bit like Valentine’s Day). At first, I was thinking ‘wow, this is really jumpy (as in.. jumping from story to story) and slow moving (probably as a result of having to go from story to story - AND THERE WERE LOADS OF STORIES!)’ but like, towards the end, when it all started coming together, it got good! The stories started unfolding and it even got quite emotional at times. I’m not a fan of that girl-from-glee’s voice though, or her face >< haha. But yeah, it wasn’t bad! :). After that we did a heck of a lot of eating: we went to the chinese restaurant in wood green, and Krispy Kreme Enfield (lucky for us the hotlight was on! So we got complimentary donuts for a minimum purchase of 2 donuts!! - EXCITING TO SAY THE LEAST!). We wanted to take pictures of the hotlight being on, but by the time we got out, it was off - and there was no longer a point! We got reaaaaally full and found it really hard to walk, HAHA!.. nevertheless, we both had a lot of fun. :D
I hope you guys enjoyed your day as much as I did mine! :)
